Practise using microscope evidence to measure cells, calculate magnification and actual size, and choose equipment such as an eyepiece graticule.
How this is tested
- calculate actual size from image measurements and magnification, with suitable units
- state how total microscope magnification is found from eyepiece and objective lenses
- apply graticule readings to estimate cell or tissue dimensions from a micrograph
