Practise converting between period, frequency and angular frequency, and predicting how oscillation timing changes in modified systems.
How this is tested
- calculate travel time between labelled points by counting whole periods and using T = 1/f
- apply spring-mass formulae to compare frequencies or periods when mass is changed or springs are added in parallel
- determine T from energy or graph information by finding ω first, then converting with T = 2π/ω
