A.4.4 (HL)—Angular motion quantities Topic Practice

IB Physics syllabusPhysics SL/HLFirst assessment 2025
Practise converting between linear and angular quantities to calculate angular speed, displacement, acceleration and time in circular motion.
How this is tested
- use v = rω or θ = L/R to convert given linear motion data into angular quantities with correct units
- calculate time around part of a circle from arc length or angular displacement, choosing between v and ω methods
- sketch or interpret θ-t behaviour during angular acceleration, recognising a concave-up curve from constant α
