Practise linking electrical power to circuit arrangement, using P = IV, I^2R or V^2/R to compare components and calculate dissipation from data.
How this is tested
- compare power in series resistors by using the same current and deciding which larger R gives larger I^2R
- compare power in parallel branches by using the same voltage and deciding which smaller R gives larger V^2/R
- determine power from circuit or graph readings by selecting a current and voltage pair that fits the setup
