Practise changing magnetic force by using force-current graphs, reversed-current predictions and practical variables that increase force.
Diagram 1 shows some apparatus used to demonstrate the magnetic force on a current-carrying wire in a magnetic field.

Diagram 1
The wire has a mass of 6.5 g .
Explain one method of increasing the magnitude of the magnetic force on the wire.
Either:
- increase the current
- by increasing the voltage of the power supply
Or:
- increase the magnetic field strength
- by using stronger magnets / moving the poles closer together
Ignore:
- unqualified reference to increasing the turns / creating a coil
