IB Maths AA HL SL 2.3 Graphing functions
Practise sketching functions from equations or prior results, marking intercepts, vertices, asymptotes, domains and comparative curve shapes clearly.
How this is tested
- sketch y=f(x) with labelled x- and y-intercepts, vertex coordinates and correct curvature
- compare curves on the same axes, keeping shared intercepts while showing changed maxima or minima
- use domain restrictions and asymptotes to draw only the valid branch of a rational or trig graph
