IB Business Management SL 4.2.5 Differentiation Questions question 1

[Maximum number: 6]

Accord is a partnership created by international athletes Aran and Kayla to sell Enrich, an ethical energy drink made from 100% natural ingredients without added sugar, caffeine, artificial sweeteners or preservatives. Enrich is a niche product aimed at athletes and is sold through affiliated sports and leisure clubs. Accord has a small workforce, limited finance and limited production capacity. If demand grows, Aran may need a small factory using job/customized production. Job/customized production would allow Accord to adjust recipes to customer needs and produce individually designed packaging, although it may be slower or more expensive than mass production. The product's natural ingredients, health positioning and ethical objectives are intended to support its unique selling proposition (USP).

Explain how Accord can differentiate Enrich from the products of its competitors.
