Take two pairs of p and V readings from the graph, and additional pair(s) of p and V readings from the graph. pV = 0.66 × 10³ Pa m³ for at least one pair. Comment that pV is constant and therefore the student's claim is valid; this conclusion depends on pV being calculated for at least two pairs.

Example: p = 110 kPa, V = 0.006 m³ gives pV = 660 Pa m³. p = 60 kPa, V = 0.011 m³ gives pV = 660 Pa m³. p = 51 kPa, V = 0.013 m³ gives pV = 663 Pa m³.
