Choosing and studying your Cambridge A-Level course
Start with the subject and stage you study at school. The directory above lists EduNinja’s available CAIE courses; Cambridge’s official subject range is broader.
- Understanding Cambridge AS and A LevelCambridge International AS Level can be taken as a qualification in its own right. Where the syllabus permits, it can also be the first stage towards a full A Level. Some learners take all A-Level papers in one examination series instead. On EduNinja, A2 labels the second-stage course context; it is not a separate full A-Level qualification. Check your subject’s assessment route before choosing AS or A2.
- Find the syllabus that matches your examMatch the examination board, subject, syllabus code and examination year before you start revision. The same subject name does not make Cambridge and Edexcel courses interchangeable. Open a subject overview to compare the available course branches, then use its official syllabus reference to confirm the version and assessment components.

A syllabus year refers to the year of the exam, so use the applicable publication rather than assuming the newest file matches your course.
