Physics from motion to quantum phenomena
The IB Physics course organises its conceptual learning around five broad themes: space, time and motion; the particulate nature of matter; wave behaviour; fields; and nuclear and quantum physics.
Practical work and inquiry support the development of models, data analysis and scientific reasoning. SL and HL share the course framework but differ in depth, syllabus scope and assessment.
