Edexcel International A Level Biology syllabus overview

The Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level Biology specification develops knowledge of biological facts, concepts and principles alongside practical, analytical and evaluative skills.

The International Advanced Subsidiary stage uses Units 1–3: molecules, cells, biodiversity, conservation and practical biology.

The full International Advanced Level adds Units 4–6: energy, environment, microbiology, immunity, respiration, coordination, gene technology and a second practical-skills unit.
